Maria Sabina Folg Hoffman

Birth: 29 Mar 1710 Germany
Death: 1782 (aged 71-72) Madison County, Virginia, USA
Burial: Burial Details Unknown. Specifically: Probably buried on her farm

Memorial #: 167919690

Bio:
Please note that some researchers spell her last name as "Volck." That may have been the original spelling, back in Germany, and after the family immigrated to America, the spelling was changed to "Folg," because that was how it was pronounced.

She was the daughter of John Michael Folg. She MAY have been the stepdaughter of George Utz, but this has not been confirmed.

She married John Hoffman on July 13, 1729, and they had twelve children. (Please see his memorial for their names and dates of birth.)

Her husband died in the summer of 1772. She was still living in 1782, as she was listed on the Culpeper County Personal Tax List that year. But since she was not listed the following year, it is believed that she died in late 1782, or early 1783.
