[p 14: On February 14, 1844 Hannah Allen, 74 of Hopkins County, gave a similar affidavit; both Anna Davis and Hannah Allen state that Fox lived with their Father for some time prior to his marriage to Elizabeth Wright, leading me to believe they are sisters; Hannah also states that Anna Davis' husband was named William Davis and that Titus Fox and William Davis served 'a good deal' together in the Revolution. She signed her affidavit with her mark.]

1843 -- Hannah Allen, 75, a citizen of Hopkins County, Kentucky, gave testimony that she is the sister of Anna Davis and knows that her sister married William Davis in November 1780 in Wilkes County, North Carolina having been present at the ceremony. Deposition attested 22 Feb 1843

I Hanar Allen of the State of Kentucky Hopkins County do hearby make my last will and testement in maner and form following that is to Say 1st I deisire that all the perishable part of my Estate be given namly to my doghter Nansey Akin all the Residuo (residual) of my Said namly the hier (heir) of too Nigr men named Jorg and Jack the hier of the year one thousand Eight hundred and fifty too (fifty-two) hit ben (it being)one hundred and Sixty five dollers and for the year one thousand Eaight hundr and fifty three the hier being one hundred and Eaighty five dollers the present year * that my doter Nansey Akin She Shud have my Bed and Bed Clothen that Belonest to the Same which I give my Doughter Nansy Akin all the rest of my Eestate Bouth Bouth reail and personale of what nature or Kind So Ever it may be not herenin before Particularey Disposted (disposed) of I desire that my Daughter abuve named shod hav hit which I give to her heiars Executors administrators and assigns forever of this my last will and testamente Hereby revoking all other or former wills or Testaments by me here tofore made in witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and affixed my seal this 29 of March 1853
