Jacob Utley was born 29 Aug 1759, Killinsley, Windham County, Connecticut; died ~ 1826, Roane County, Tennessee. Notes: July 13, 2016; Comments (Family Group Sheet for Jacob Utley/Dinah Hilsman (F7541) m. 28 Aug 1775 ): Jacob Utley was the son of John Utley and Ann Lewis of Goochland County, Virginia. He had 6 brothers and 3 sisters Jacob lived in Amelia County until about 1796. Dinah Hilsman had a sister named Elizabeth and she married Jacob's brother Hezakiah Utley. They were both named as legatees in the final settlement of Matthew Hilsman's estate in Amelia County, Va. This documentation can be found in the chancery cases at the Library of Va.
