Derbyshire, England, 3 Sep. 1629, Katherine Seald He arrived in New England 6 Nov. 1631 and settled initially at Dorchester, and then c. 1640 removed to Braintree before finally settling at Mendon c. 1663. They were among the first seven settlers there. He was a tailor by trade and the ancestor of nearly all New England Aldridge lines. Children: 1. Joseph b. 1635 d. 1701 2. Mary b. This is not the case as both he and wife Katherine have existing 17th Century Headstones in The George Aldrich Cemetery, Uxbridge.
